French Lick Resort Blues, Cruise, & BBQ Indiana State Barbeque Championship was created to bring the best grillers in the world to our state. This KCBS Barbecue Championship will, without question, make southern Indiana rank as one of the nation’s premier barbecue events,” organizers C.L.Button(Skinny) and Kevin Manring(Pork Chop) said. “It’s got the prize money to help pay the bills, but it’s respect and a true BBQ experience. Teams that compete here know that when the smoke clears and the Judges cards are scored they will have experienced some of the finest competition that the sport has to offer. We are really excited to be blessed with this venue. What more could you ask for?"
